About the role
Ensemble Schools is seeking an experienced advanced piano instructor to teach private and group lessons at the Melody Academy of Music in Fremont. The role is on‑site, part‑time, and may include teaching other instruments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide private piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
- Teach group classes and prepare students for Certificate of Merit, ABRSM, or similar exams.
- Maintain punctuality, reliable transportation, and a professional teaching environment.
Required profile
- Degree in piano performance, pedagogy, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
- Ability to pass a routine background check and possess reliable transportation.
Required skills
- Strong music background with advanced piano proficiency.
- Experience preparing students for music theory and performance examinations.
