Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager

About the role

Moog is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the transition of operations into its next‑generation Advanced Integrated Manufacturing (AIM) facility. The role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership in a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, test and implement advanced manufacturing technologies across diverse products and processes.
• Lead, advise and prioritize projects for a team of 4‑5 Advanced Manufacturing Engineers.
• Coordinate technical requirements with internal stakeholders, external collaborators and suppliers.
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, research institutes and technology suppliers.
• Plan, develop and report on projects from concept through production implementation.
• Apply Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) frameworks to project planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and project‑management teams across Moog divisions.
• Support ongoing manufacturing improvement initiatives using advanced technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in an advanced manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal and external partners.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams including mechanical, electrical, robotics, controls and software engineers.
