Advanced Cyber Threat Response & Forensics Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is looking for an experienced cyber professional to join its Cyber Defense and Resilience team. You will help clients build, execute, and improve their cyber incident response programs, ensuring readiness, rapid response, and effective recovery from cyber events.

Key responsibilities

• Support and execute the full lifecycle of cyber incident response engagements, including investigation, containment, remediation, recovery, and post‑incident activities.
• Develop and review incident reports, technical documentation, and client communications for clarity and accuracy.
• Facilitate technical working sessions and contribute to client discussions to drive effective incident response delivery.
• Design and enhance Crisis & Incident Response capabilities aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS standards.
• Identify and implement improvements to incident monitoring, detection, and response processes.
• Apply leading practices and technologies to improve consistency, quality, and reliability of cyber services.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across US and US‑India teams.
• Contribute to the development of assets, methodologies, and market offerings related to crisis response and technical resilience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cyber defense, incident response, and cyber resilience.
• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Limited visa sponsorship may be available.
