Advance Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Endocrinology

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider to deliver primary and specialty endocrine care at Stow Health and Wellness. The role involves collaborative patient management, education, and participation in quality improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order appropriate laboratory, radiology, and special tests.
• Interpret diagnostic results, develop working diagnoses, and create treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Prescribe and monitor medications within state licensing and Cleveland Clinic policies.
• Educate patients on disease processes, treatment options, medication side effects, and self‑care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, referrals, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
• Contribute to quality monitoring, evidence‑based practice translation, and research activities.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of Advanced Practice Provider experience; endocrinology experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program (MSN required) or an A.R.C. approved Physician Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as NP (RN license required) or PA, with national certification.
• Basic Life Support certification; ACLS, PALS, NRP, or ATLS as required by the work setting.
• Credentialed and privileged by the Medical Executive Committee and hospital governing bodies.
