About the role

The Administrative Partner supports daily administrative and operational functions within Lehigh Valley Health Network, ensuring smooth patient flow and high‑quality patient care. This position coordinates communication among caregivers, patients, and visitors while handling clerical tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage charting functions, bed assignments, and patient flow activities.
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and maintain patient medical records, including discharge charts.
  • Order supplies, perform data entry of billable charges, and transcribe physician orders.
  • Ensure test results and pertinent information are filed promptly for provider review.

Required profile

  • High School Diploma/GED; experience in clerical or bed‑board management in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to handle multiple interruptions, adapt to changing priorities, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and problem‑solving processes.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using healthcare information systems.
