Adjunct Technical Faculty – Esthetics

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking an Adjunct Technical Faculty member to teach Esthetics. This part‑time position supports student success and workforce readiness by delivering industry‑relevant instruction and overseeing experiential learning components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, and lesson plans that comply with State Board policies and accreditation standards.
• Deliver instruction using creative teaching methods and instructional technologies within scheduled class time.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate attendance records.
• Coordinate and supervise practicum, simulated, and internship experiences, ensuring proper documentation.
• Manage instructional supplies, tools, and equipment, and submit budget requests as needed.
• Maintain program, licensure, and industry certification requirements.
• Prepare and submit required accreditation and administrative reports.
• Implement lab safety and security plans in instructional environments.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background and professional experience in esthetics education.
• Familiarity with state standards, accreditation processes, and curriculum development.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Commitment to student success and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with instructional technologies and online learning platforms.
• Lab management and safety planning.
