Adjunct Mathematics Instructor – Part‑time

About the role

Lanier Technical College is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach mathematics courses on a part‑time basis across its campuses in Georgia. This non‑benefits‑eligible position is ideal for professionals who wish to share their expertise with adult learners in a post‑secondary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional instruction following the approved course syllabus.
• Prepare curriculum materials, lesson outlines, and assessments.
• Evaluate student progress, grade examinations, and maintain accurate grade records.
• Participate in in‑service training, workshops, and seminars as required.
• Ensure safety and security standards are met in training areas.
• Meet all deadlines set by the Dean of General Education and collaborate with students and staff.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics plus relevant coursework.
• Demonstrated ability to teach diverse adult learners in classroom or online settings.
• Ability to submit an unofficial transcript for verification.
