Adjunct for Humanities / Fine Arts

About the role

Savannah Technical College seeks qualified professionals to join our faculty as Adjunct Instructors in Humanities and Fine Arts. This part‑time, temporary position offers flexible lecture and laboratory schedules across multiple campus locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate courses in humanities and fine arts, including lectures and labs.
• Prepare syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments.
• Maintain a flexible teaching schedule, including split shifts and occasional travel between campuses.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in the relevant field or a closely related discipline with at least 18 graduate semester hours.
• Minimum three (3) years of full‑time professional experience in the discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and human‑relations abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
