Adjunct Faculty in Criminology/Criminal Justice

About the role
The Department of Criminology and Political Science at Texas A&M University‑San Antonio seeks a part‑time adjunct instructor to teach courses in its Criminology/Criminal Justice program starting Fall 2025. The appointment is contingent on course availability.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate courses in criminology and criminal justice.
- Prepare and present course materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in criminal justice or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least one (1) year of university teaching experience.
- Preferred: three (3) years of university teaching experience, a doctoral degree, and a record of teaching excellence.
