About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for its Clinical Workforce (CW) program in Fort Smith. This position supports the university’s mission of integrating education, research, and clinical care while fostering teamwork and diversity.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the program director and/or division of Medical Student Education (MSE) to define teaching assignments on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Provide instruction, mentorship, and clinical guidance to medical students and residents as needed.
- Participate in curriculum development and assessment activities aligned with UAMS standards.
Required profile
- MD or DO degree.
- Active license with the Arkansas State Medical Board.
- Board certification in a relevant medical specialty.
