About the role
The Allied Health Sciences department at Austin Community College seeks qualified adjunct faculty to prepare and teach courses for a multicultural student body, both in‑person and online.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, innovative course content for Allied Health Science courses.
- Prepare and teach classes for high school, dual‑credit, and community college students across multiple campuses.
- Teach during daytime and evening hours as assigned.
- Apply culturally responsive teaching practices and uphold college policies and professional faculty standards.
Required profile
- Commitment to student success and equitable access to education.
- Ability to work with diverse, first‑generation, low‑income, and underserved student populations.
- Willingness to maintain a Texas domicile for the duration of employment.
- Collaboration skills and respect for diverse perspectives.
