Adjunct Cosmetology Instructor – Multiple Campuses

About the role

Savannah Technical College is seeking part‑time Adjunct Instructors to teach Cosmetology and Nail Technology across its Savannah and Effingham campuses. The role involves delivering state‑approved curriculum in both classroom and laboratory environments, supporting student success from enrollment through graduation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the approved Cosmetology and/or Nail Technology curriculum using current instructional materials.
• Facilitate effective learning in classroom and lab settings.
• Assess and record student progress toward learning outcomes.
• Maintain safety and security standards in instructional spaces.
• Assist with student retention, graduate placement, and industry liaison.
• Prepare and manage required documentation and administrative reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Nail Technology or Master Cosmetology program.
• Active Georgia Nail Technology and/or Master Cosmetologist license in good standing.
• At least three years of full‑time, paid experience in the field within the past seven years.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and Saturdays.
