Adjunct Cosmetology Instructor for Multiple Campuses

About the role

Savannah Technical College is seeking part‑time adjunct instructors to teach Cosmetology and Nail Technology programs across its Savannah and Effingham campuses. The position offers the opportunity to shape future professionals in a hands‑on classroom and laboratory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver state‑approved Cosmetology and/or Nail Technology curriculum using current instructional materials.
• Facilitate effective learning in both classroom and lab settings while ensuring safety and security standards.
• Assess student progress, record outcomes, and maintain required documentation and reports.
• Support student retention through graduation and assist with graduate placement.
• Maintain relationships with industry partners, businesses, and the public sector.

Required profile

• High school diploma and completion of an accredited Nail Technology or Master Cosmetology program.
• Active Georgia Nail Technology and/or Master Cosmetologist license in good standing.
• Three years of full‑time, paid work experience in the field within the past seven years.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and Saturdays.
