Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor – Forsyth Campus

About the role

The Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Adjunct Clinical Nursing Instructor will plan, deliver, and evaluate clinical instruction for nursing students at the Forsyth Campus, supporting the Program Director and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instruction, supervision, and evaluation of students in clinical, lab, and simulation settings.
• Teach assigned contact hours each week, typically one to two days of clinical instruction per semester.
• Maintain accurate student records, give regular academic feedback, and enforce academic policies.
• Collaborate with clinical agencies, complete faculty orientation, and uphold site‑specific requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted Georgia RN license.
• Current AHA CPR for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Recent (within 5 years) bedside med‑surg patient‑care experience.
• Compliance with clinical site requirements (immunizations, drug screening, etc.).

Required skills

• AHA CPR certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, etc.).
• Experience using Blackboard and computerized charting systems.
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation.
