About the role

The Actuarial Technical Analyst II plays a pivotal role in developing, validating, and maintaining data that underpins the technical and finance functions of MAPFRE. Working in a hybrid setting, the analyst ensures data integrity across multiple lines of business and supports decision‑making that drives organizational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain country‑wide datasets across all lines of business and systems.
• Develop, validate, and ensure the integrity of data used for business decision‑making.
• Optimize processes to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
• Apply insurance domain knowledge to create datasets for market pricing analytics.
• Collaborate with Advanced Analytics, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Partner with senior management to interpret analysis and drive appropriate actions.
• Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
• Make decisions across varied scenarios by interpreting guidelines and exercising sound judgment.
• Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced team members.
• Communicate effectively with business partners and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Intermediate to advanced analytical capabilities.
