Actuarial Science Intern

About the role

Marsh Agency offers a summer 2027 Actuarial Internship in Raleigh, North Carolina, with applications accepted through January 1, 2027. The program gives real-world business, risk management and insurance experience, applying classroom concepts through project work and client interaction, and focuses on the tools needed for actuarial career pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Perform actuarial analysis associated with the consultative management of employee benefit programs
• Work directly with actuarial teams and develop actual client relationships
• Take part in a series of national webinars introducing the industry and the organization
• Build your network with your manager, mentor and other interns, and meet industry partners

Required profile

• Rising senior (4th year) undergraduate student
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics or a similar field
• Commitment to developing an actuarial career and strong interest in the insurance industry
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. permanently and without sponsorship now or in the future
• Post-graduate plans in the Mid-Atlantic region; attendance throughout the entire program is required
