Accounts Payable Manager

About the role

Reframe Systems is seeking an Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager to own the end‑to‑end procure‑to‑pay process across its manufacturing micro‑factories and corporate operations. You will work closely with procurement, supply chain, robotics engineering, and vendor partners to establish scalable AP controls as production volume grows.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily intake, coding, and processing of vendor invoices, utility bills, subcontractor billings, and freight charges using 3‑way matching (PO, receiving receipt, invoice).
• Serve as primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, handle supplier onboarding, verify tax documents, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, wire transfers, checks) to optimize payment terms, capture early‑pay discounts, and manage cash flow.
• Partner with supply chain and operations to resolve PO, price variance, and receiving discrepancies for raw materials and equipment.
• Reconcile vendor statements, maintain sub‑ledger to GL accuracy, and produce AP aging reports and accrual schedules for month‑end close.
• Assist in setting up automated AP workflows, ERP controls, and expense management tools to support high‑growth manufacturing scaling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience, preferably in manufacturing, hardware, construction, or deep‑tech startup environments.
• Hands‑on proficiency with modern ERP systems and automated AP software.
• Strong understanding of purchase order processes, job costing, and sales/use tax basics.
• Detail‑oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast‑paced micro‑factory environment.
