Accounting Manager – Healthcare Month-End Close (Remote)

About the role

Beech Valley is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support a multi‑site healthcare organization with operational accounting and month‑end close. This remote, full‑time contract role focuses on delivering a clean, timely close across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the month‑end close process, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Perform operational accounting tasks such as account reconciliations, variance explanations, and journal entry preparation.
• Review balance sheets and income statements and provide support.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across sites to keep close activities moving.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve close efficiency through documentation and process clean‑up.
• Provide clear status updates and communicate risks or issues early.

Required profile

• Manager‑level accounting experience, either public accounting plus industry or strong industry background.
• Proven experience in multi‑site healthcare environments (highly preferred).
• Strong operational accounting and month‑end close background.
• Comfortable owning work end‑to‑end with minimal oversight.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience across multiple entities/locations is a plus.
