Accountant

About the role

The Child & Family Guidance Center is seeking an Accountant for its North Texas clinics. The role involves managing complex financial records, processing invoices, and preparing accurate financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual general‑ledger reconciliations, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and intangibles.
• Enter monthly journal entries, maintain balance‑sheet and income‑statement reconciliations, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Conduct analysis of general‑ledger accounts and budget‑to‑actual reports as directed by the CFO.
• Assist with the annual external audit and improve accounting systems and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and 3‑5 years of general‑ledger accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication, high ethical standards and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) and familiarity with Sage.
• Proficient use of QuickBooks.
