Accountant III

About the role

Mezzo Technologies, a subsidiary of Signia Aerospace, is seeking an Accountant III to lead complex accounting activities and support financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. The role combines technical accounting expertise with mentorship of junior staff in a high‑impact, data‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage complex reconciliations and specialized accounting tasks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting support for management decision‑making.
• Coordinate audit activities and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
• Identify and drive process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Mentor and guide accounting staff on technical matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience with advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• CPA license preferred or equivalent certification.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
