Accountant III

About the role

Mezzo Technologies, a subsidiary of Signia Aerospace, is seeking an Accountant III to lead complex accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive process improvements. You will work in a high‑impact environment supporting aerospace, defense, energy, and motorsports customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex accounting tasks, including month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close.
• Prepare accurate, GAAP‑compliant financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Manage and reconcile complex accounts, ensuring strong internal controls.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and mentor junior accountants.
• Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate audit activities and maintain compliance documentation.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement and automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• CPA license preferred or equivalent certification.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
