Accountant – Fixed Assets Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to manage and enhance our fixed asset accounting processes. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate asset records, supporting audit activities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support and improve fixed asset accounting procedures.
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
• Record and monitor asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and lease accounting.
• Perform asset valuations, depreciation calculations, and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning.
• Coordinate with IT and administrative teams for asset tagging and tracking.
• Handle internal and external audit requests related to fixed assets.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, and implement process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of experience specifically with fixed assets.
