Account Manager – Vision Care (Ashburn/Leesburg, VA)

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Account Manager to grow revenue for its vision care portfolio in the Ashburn/Leesburg, VA territory. You will partner with eye‑care practitioners, promote innovative products, and use a needs‑based selling approach to match solutions with doctor and patient requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand relationships with eye‑care practitioners while executing strategic account plans.
• Clarify customer needs and set objectives for each sales interaction based on decision‑maker and influencer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create executional plans that address customer and organizational goals.
• Execute product‑specific marketing plans to drive adoption and change customer behavior.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (or high school + 10 years, associate + 6 years, M.S.).
• Fluent reading, writing and communication skills in English.
• At least 2 years of relevant sales experience.
