Account Manager - Tepezza (Rare Disease) Overlay, Ohio/WV/VA

About the role

Amgen is hiring an Account Manager for its Tepezza (rare disease) overlay in the Ohio/WV district. The role represents Tepezza to physicians and healthcare professionals, establishes product sales and manages the territory, with approximately 80% travel including overnight and weekend commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a territory business plan to meet or exceed annual sales goals set by sales and business unit leadership.
• Promote Tepezza within approved labeling in line with legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Address access, pull-through and reimbursement issues with stakeholders and matrix team members.
• Build strong customer relationships and communicate their needs to the team.
• Drive product demand through education on disease state and product information.
• Manage the promotional and operational budget and complete all company training.
• Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed and coordinate with patient services, market access and field teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience in pharma, biotech, medical devices or hospital sales, OR associate degree and 6 years, OR high school diploma/GED and 8 years.
• Pharma account management selling experience is essential; buy-and-bill, biologic/infusion, endocrinology, ophthalmology, site-of-care and reimbursement experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication skills.
