Account Manager – Luxury Travel, Hospitality & Wellness

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead PR initiatives for luxury travel, hospitality, wellness and lifestyle brands. The role will be based in Midtown Manhattan, working three days a week on‑site, and will involve guiding strategy, managing client relationships and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to clients and internal teams, analysing industry trends to spot opportunities and risks.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through regular meetings, reporting and communication.
• Oversee and mentor a team of two to four junior members, delivering training and coaching.
• Build and sustain media and KOL relationships across travel, lifestyle, art, design, gastronomy and fashion.
• Develop and execute compelling storytelling, press materials and media strategies to secure high‑impact coverage.
• Measure results, manage crises and provide strategic problem‑solving support.
• Contribute to new‑business proposals, brainstorms and campaign ideation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 6‑10 years of PR experience in luxury hospitality, preferably agency‑based.
• Proven track record leading end‑to‑end PR campaigns and managing junior staff.
• Established relationships with travel, lifestyle and luxury media and influencers.
• Strong written and verbal communication with storytelling ability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, Pinterest).
• Working knowledge of AI tools.
