Assurance Internal Communications Director

About the role

The Assurance Internal Communications Director will lead the development and execution of internal communication strategies that reinforce PwC's mission, values, and business objectives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the narrative, inspire employees, and ensure consistent messaging across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic communication plans that align internal stakeholders with organizational goals.
• Lead corporate reputation and public‑relations initiatives through effective messaging.
• Manage change‑communication programs to boost employee engagement and alignment.
• Oversee creation and distribution of content that conveys the firm’s mission and key initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership to translate vision into actionable communication tactics.
• Drive innovation in communication channels to reach diverse internal audiences.
• Conduct change impact analyses to inform communication approaches.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders.
• Promote inclusion and engagement through strategic storytelling.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; higher education in English Literature, Journalism, Communications, or related fields is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in internal and external corporate communications, preferably within PwC or a professional services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor emerging leaders, and influence senior executives.
