Account Manager

About the role

Translation Excellence (TE) is a language services agency offering localization, certified translation, interpretation, CART, and related services. This entry-level Account Manager position is based at the Aurora, CO office and focuses on developing new business relationships and acting as the first line of support to existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop prospective clients through internet research, trade show lists, referrals, professional directories and personal investigation.
• Foster and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking and events such as trade shows and regional organizations.
• Grow new business from existing clients, working closely with senior leadership to expand relationships and upsell the TE portfolio.
• Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients.
• Educate clients on the translation process, including rates, turnaround time justification and competitor information.
• Liaise with production so jobs are handled carefully and delivered perfectly.
• Follow up consistently with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service.
• Stay informed on the industries TE serves, including industry leaders and current events.
• Perform special projects or duties when required.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management.
• An interest in the legal industry is a plus.
