Account Manager II – Automotive Supplier

About the role

HL Mando, a Tier 1 supplier of safety‑critical chassis components, is seeking an Account Manager II to join its North American sales team at the Novi, Michigan headquarters. You will be the primary point of contact for key automotive customers, building strong relationships and ensuring commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full commercial relationship with assigned customers, from quotation to delivery.
• Verify, track, and analyze cost and pricing data to support responsible commercial decisions.
• Receive, review, and respond to Requests for Quote (RFQs) in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and submit accurate quotations.
• Participate in sales strategy discussions, bringing industry knowledge and the customer’s perspective.
• Work closely with Engineering and Program Management to optimize supplier‑customer interactions.
• Host customer visits at HL Mando manufacturing plants.

Required profile

• Prior experience as an Account Manager for a major Tier 1 automotive supplier or in a customer‑facing project management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in sales management or a related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to hard work, quick learning, and a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
