Account Manager – Healthcare Communications

About the role

Real Chemistry is seeking an Account Manager to support its healthcare communications practice. You will work with pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and health‑IT clients, delivering strategic marketing solutions and ensuring seamless project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 3‑4 client accounts, providing exceptional service and high‑touch communication.
• Collaborate with account associates, senior leadership and project teams to drive timely delivery of projects.
• Contribute to the development of marketing strategies, tactics and creative briefs.
• Support account growth, resource planning and fiscal performance.
• Handle day‑to‑day client interactions, ad‑hoc requests and delivery of planned materials.
• Prepare scopes of work, contracts, presentations, PR and marketing collateral.
• Gather and act on client feedback across deliverables.
• Document project status, set meeting agendas and produce contact reports.
• Run client calls or meetings independently.
• Track budgets, raise invoices and purchase orders.

Required profile

• Experience in client services or account management within the healthcare sector.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable handling budgets, invoicing and financial tracking.
• Self‑starter who can run client meetings independently.
