Account Manager – Commercial Insurance (Remote – EST/CT)

About the role

The Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client retention and supporting new business growth. This fully remote position serves applicants in the Eastern or Central Time Zones and works closely with shared services and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise in commercial lines.
• Lead daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations, renewals, and the renewal submission process.
• Monitor accounts receivable, pursue delinquent balances, and ensure timely collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with accurate data.
• Provide transparent communication on workload status and resolve complex issues.
• Deliver proactive, high‑quality service and continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of account management experience in insurance brokerage.
• Active Property & Casualty license; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; higher education optional.
