Account Manager – Commercial Insurance (Remote, Eastern/Central TZ)

About the role

The Account Manager will oversee an assigned book of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client retention while supporting new business opportunities. This fully remote position serves clients in the construction, contractors, and property sectors and requires active P&C licensing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations, renewals, and the renewal submission process.
• Monitor accounts receivable, collect delinquent balances, and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with accurate data.
• Track activity and suspense items to guarantee timely completion.
• Communicate workload status and issues transparently to the account team.
• Deliver proactive, high‑quality service and anticipate client needs.
• Stay current on company policies, compliance, and best‑practice improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active Property & Casualty license; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (additional education a plus).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
