Account Executive - Near Patient Care

About the role

As an Account Executive - Near Patient Care, you will lead total account management and drive commercial adoption of the Roche Point of Care (POC) portfolio across the healthcare continuum. The role covers Idaho, parts of Oregon and parts of Washington, and candidates are preferred to live in Boise, Idaho, within 50 miles of the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new customer acquisition and strategic account expansion across Integrated Health Networks (IHNs), hospital laboratories, emergency departments, urgent care centers and physician office laboratories.
• Penetrate large, complex IHN accounts to engage key buying authorities such as Laboratory Directors, Department Chairs, POC Coordinators and executive hospital leadership.
• Position Roche healthcare IT solutions and middleware connectivity to integrate decentralized diagnostic instruments across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Use clinical and financial acumen to uncover customer needs, articulate clinical workflows and demonstrate return on investment.
• Formulate and execute territory-specific business plans and pipeline forecasts to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Deliver system demonstrations, product presentations and business reviews for POC committees, VIP meetings and industry conferences.
• Partner with field application specialists, medical affairs, technical support and commercial operations to ensure implementation and customer success.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant consultative sales or equivalent related experience; participation in an approved accelerated development, fellowship or rotational program may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Strong oral and written communication, with a track record of impactful executive presentations.
• Preferred: prior sales and account management experience in POC diagnostics, molecular testing or hospital laboratories, and familiarity with medical device connectivity, HIT/EHR integration and diagnostic middleware.

What we offer

• Expected salary range of $86,700-$160,900 based on the primary location of Boise, ID, depending on experience, qualifications and location.
