Account Executive III

About the role

HCSC is hiring an Account Executive III in Downers Grove, Illinois. The role drives continued and increased growth by negotiating renewals or selling products and services to existing customers, understanding customer needs and providing customer support. Travel, including overnight stays, is required.

Required profile

• General Lines Agent Life, Health and HMO state insurance license.
• Either 6 years as a group health insurance account executive, or 4 years as a group health insurance account executive plus 2 years in claims, customer service or managed health care in a self-directed role, or a bachelor's degree plus four years as a group health insurance account executive.
• Experience with complex accounts and addressing customer needs while building strong customer relations.
• Experience analyzing reports and financial information, with analytical and financial analysis skills.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree.

• Thorough knowledge of managed care products (HMO, PPO) processes and trends.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• Written and verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel.

What we offer

• Base pay range of $76,000 to $113,900, varying with skills, experience and location.
