Account Executive I

About the role

HCSC is hiring an Account Executive I in Downers Grove, Illinois, to support continued business growth and customer retention by managing existing client relationships. The role is a flex (hybrid) position with three days in the office and two days remote, and travel as needed is required.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate renewals with existing clients
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services
• Understand customer needs and provide ongoing account support
• Build strong customer relations and make sound decisions

Required profile

• State General Lines Agent Life, Health and HMO license, or ability to obtain it within the required time frame per state regulations
• Either 4 years of experience in health care management, claims processing, customer service or marketing/sales, or a bachelor's degree plus 2 years of such experience
• Health care management experience including PPO and HMO
• Written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and experience analyzing reports
• Preferred: bachelor's degree

• Base pay range of $56,900 to $85,300, varying with skills, experience and location
