Account Executive - Digital & Media Sales

About the role

iHeartMedia, the largest audio company in America, is hiring an Account Executive in Colorado Springs. The role covers broadcast and digital marketing products, developing new business through in-person meetings and research, and growing existing accounts through daily cold calling. The position is paid on a 100% commission basis.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the broadcast and digital marketing products and identify new business opportunities through in-person client meetings and research.
• Cultivate existing business using the full suite of products.
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and create effective marketing campaigns.
• Deliver data-backed sales presentations and build relationships with clients.

Required profile

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, expert negotiator and proactive; able to plan and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with cold calling and initiating outreach to prospects.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance and a high school diploma (college degree preferred).
• Sales experience, with new business development and cold calling emphasized; Colorado Springs contacts expected.
• Digital/media sales experience is a plus; a media industry background and knowledge of sales processes are helpful.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office and social networking platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication, active listening and influencing skills.
• Ability to build a territory plan or account approach and to prioritize day-to-day tasks.
