Academic Tutor – Private & Online Tutoring

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking enthusiastic educators to provide in‑home and online tutoring aligned with the Louisiana curriculum. Tutors will create personalized learning experiences that help students truly understand material and achieve academic success.

Key responsibilities

• Empower students with academic support based on the Louisiana curriculum.
• Develop customized learning plans that emphasize comprehension over memorization.
• Offer remedial and enrichment opportunities to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with parents to communicate progress, challenges, and achievements.

Required profile

• Current, valid registration with the New Orleans Department of Education, or
• Qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of certification), or
• Teacher candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education, or
• Experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. or Canadian university.
