About the role

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking energetic and enthusiastic academic tutors to provide personalized support to K‑12 students in Montgomery County, Maryland. Tutors will work directly with students, families, and teachers to enhance learning outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Deliver academic support aligned with the state curriculum and create supplemental assignments.
Provide remedial and enrichment assistance, and communicate student progress to parents or guardians.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree and at least one of the following: valid Maryland teaching certificate, current student‑teacher status, two+ years private/charter teaching experience, university lecturing experience, or graduate‑level teaching assistant experience.
Strong communication skills, customer‑service orientation, and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
