About the role

Challenge Preparatory Charter School seeks enthusiastic 4th‑grade General Education Teachers to join its K‑5 team for the 2026‑2027 school year. Teachers will deliver rigorous, technology‑infused instruction and support the academic growth of a diverse student body in Far Rockaway, Queens.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with NY State Learning Standards.
• Assess scholar progress and provide targeted feedback.
• Differentiate instruction for English Language Learners and students with disabilities.
• Participate in after‑school or Saturday tutoring, sports, enrichment, arts, and family programs.
• Contribute to in‑house committees and special programs.
• Engage in professional development activities such as inquiry work, inter‑visitations, and collaborative planning.
