About the role

ACCEL Schools is seeking a passionate 4th Grade Teacher for Cornerstone Academy in Westerville, Ohio for the 2026‑2027 school year. The teacher will deliver a rigorous, student‑centered curriculum while fostering social‑emotional growth in a supportive charter‑school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learner needs.
• Differentiate instruction and use research‑based best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Implement school‑approved curricula that reflect cultural and linguistic diversity.
• Communicate regularly with families about academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Integrate technology tools to enhance instruction.
• Participate in non‑instructional activities and collaborate with colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Active Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Comfort with a growth‑focused coaching environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Experience supervising students in various school settings.
• Clear background check eligibility.
• Experience working in an urban school environment.
