4-H Program Assistant

About the role

The Cooperative Extension Service is seeking a 4‑H Program Assistant to support youth development activities in an assigned county. Working under the supervision of a county agent, the assistant will help maintain and grow 4‑H clubs, coordinate events, and provide administrative support for the extension program.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 4‑H clubs, including record‑keeping and periodic attendance at club meetings.
• Assist the county agent in planning and executing youth development programs and community events.
• Organize and prioritize tasks, manage interruptions, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Communicate with volunteers, parents, and participants to support program activities.
• Follow attendance, leave, and professional appearance policies.
