4-H Program Assistant

About the role

The Cooperative Extension Service is seeking a 4‑H Program Assistant to support youth development activities in an assigned county. Working under the supervision of a county agent, you will help maintain and grow 4‑H clubs, coordinate meetings, and foster relationships with leaders, members, and parents.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support 4‑H clubs, including regular attendance at club meetings.
• Build and sustain working relationships with 4‑H leaders, members, and parents.
• Assist with recruitment and outreach activities to expand program participation.
• Organize program materials, schedules, and records to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide administrative support to the county agent and other extension staff.
