10th & 11th Grade College & Career Teacher

About the role

Kairos Academes is looking for a dedicated College & Career Teacher to deliver the Next Prep curriculum to 10th‑ and 11th‑grade students. The role blends rigorous instruction with mentorship, data‑driven practice, and whole‑school leadership to shape a culture of academic excellence and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Teach 10th‑ and 11th‑grade Next Prep sections with 100% curriculum fidelity and submit lesson internalizations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date student data, monitor progress, and differentiate support.
• Facilitate weekly student Circle sessions and monitor mentor group academic and behavioral development.
• Serve as primary point of contact for families, communicating school‑wide information.
• Coordinate and chaperone employer site visits and professional‑skills simulations.
• Participate in Next Prep professional development, planning meetings, and schoolwide service roles (e.g., Grade‑Level Lead, Tutoring Lead).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in Title I schools.
• Experience working with diverse age groups and skill levels.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and reliable attendance.
• Eligibility to work in the United States and clearance for background check.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
