Youth & Family Programs Supervisor

About the role

The Youth & Family Programs Supervisor leads the Atlantic Fields Kids Program, delivering safe, fun, and educational outdoor experiences for members and guests. Working within the Outdoor Pursuits department, you will ensure high‑quality service and foster a welcoming environment for families.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the AF Kids Program, including lesson planning, activity scheduling, and staff coordination.
• Collaborate with Outdoor Pursuits Management to innovate and enhance program offerings.
• Maintain accurate financial records and operate within budgetary limits.
• Develop and deliver on‑the‑job training, coaching staff to improve skills and performance.
• Manage inventory, conduct regular equipment checks, and enforce safety policies.
• Lead and participate in activities such as archery, axe throwing, equestrian events, fishing, and racquet sports.
• Supervise on‑site and off‑site events, including transportation of participants.
• Support overnight camping experiences and ensure proper set‑up and breakdown of activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Education or a related field (preferred).
• Experience as a CIT or counselor and background in guest service.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
• Strong swimming ability and comfort supervising water‑based activities.
