Workday Finance Functional Consultant – Richardson, TX

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Workday Finance Functional Consultant to join its team in Richardson, Texas. The role focuses on delivering Workday Financial Management solutions, supporting implementation projects and ensuring alignment with client business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project timelines, identifying and resolving resource gaps to meet delivery schedules.
• Coordinate between technical teams and client stakeholders through regular meetings, sprints, and project phases.
• Support technical teams during development, integration, and customization of Workday enterprise applications.
• Monitor project deliverables across all phases to ensure quality standards and stakeholder expectations are met.
• Proactively manage risks, anticipate challenges, and propose innovative solutions while balancing project economics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial management and Workday ERP implementation or support.
• Hands‑on experience with Workday Financial Management modules such as AP, GL, Procurement, Costing, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Payables and Accounting Center.
• Ability to build integrations, reports, and customize business processes using native Workday tools.
• Strong understanding of ERP processes, reporting, and cloud‑based finance solutions.
