VR Supervisor – State Agency

About the role

The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency is seeking a VR Supervisor to lead a high‑performing team of rehabilitation professionals. This role focuses on delivering quality services that help individuals with significant disabilities obtain and retain competitive integrated employment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and sustain a high‑performance environment with ethical leadership and strong case management.
• Plan, organize, and monitor team work to meet agency goals for disability employment.
• Analyze service effectiveness and ensure outcome measures are achieved.
• Ensure compliance with policies, documentation, and reporting requirements.
• Build cooperative relationships with internal teams, external agencies, providers, and community partners.
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial compliance, and allocate case service funds.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and, when necessary, discipline rehabilitation staff.
• Lead quality assurance reviews and ensure adherence to state and federal regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus three years of subordinate management experience, or certification with two years of management experience.
• Preferred: Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, five+ years of clinical counseling, and supervisory experience in a vocational rehabilitation setting.
• Demonstrated collaboration, communication, project management, leadership, and performance‑management skills.
