About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences seeks a volunteer faculty member to teach medical students in the Department of CW Surgery Education. This role involves delivering surgical education and mentoring future physicians.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom and clinical instruction to medical students.
- Develop and deliver curriculum content in surgery and pediatric plastic surgery.
- Participate in academic meetings and student assessments.
Required profile
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Completed General Surgery residency.
- ACGME‑accredited pediatric plastic surgery fellowship.
- Eligibility for an Arkansas medical license and American Board of Surgery certification.
- DEA license or eligibility.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
- Full COVID‑19 vaccination or approved exemption.
Required skills
- Surgical expertise in general and pediatric plastic surgery.
- Clinical teaching and mentorship.
