Volunteer Faculty – Medical Education (MD)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences seeks a volunteer faculty member to teach medical students in the Department of CW Surgery Education. This role involves delivering surgical education and mentoring future physicians.

Key responsibilities

• Provide classroom and clinical instruction to medical students.
• Develop and deliver curriculum content in surgery and pediatric plastic surgery.
• Participate in academic meetings and student assessments.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or DO).
• Completed General Surgery residency.
• ACGME‑accredited pediatric plastic surgery fellowship.
• Eligibility for an Arkansas medical license and American Board of Surgery certification.
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or approved exemption.
