Vice President, Strategic Communications – Digital Focus

About the role

Precision‑Strategies is seeking a Vice President to lead digital strategy within its Strategic Communications team, based in New York, NY (or Washington, DC). The role drives integrated communications, media, and digital initiatives for corporate and advocacy clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee development of high‑impact communications materials, including memos, decks, press releases, op‑eds, speeches, social media strategy, paid media, and data analysis.
• Lead media strategy across multiple initiatives, anticipate trends, shape storylines, and ensure proactive client engagement.
• Own client relationships, manage large‑scale projects and budgets, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Champion cross‑functional collaboration among strategic communications, data, creative, and paid‑media teams.
• Manage junior staff through coaching, performance reviews, and fostering a high‑morale culture.
• Execute complex projects end‑to‑end, craft work plans, delegate tasks, and oversee budgets.

Required profile

• 10+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in corporate or agency settings.
• Direct client management experience with multiple large clients simultaneously.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially about digital topics.
• Meticulous attention to detail and an entrepreneurial spirit.
