Vice President, Pricing

About the role

HD Supply is looking for a Vice President, Pricing who leads the execution of pricing plans across the organization and oversees the expansion and improvement of pricing capabilities and best-in-class processes. The role manages the strategic pricing roadmap with internal stakeholders so that pricing aligns with overall business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure efficient development and execution of pricing plans, incorporating new data sources and improving accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for pricing initiatives, including advancing and automating price-setting, pricing segmentation, annual financial planning, and tools and templates for the pricing team.
• Act as a thought leader on pricing strategy, tools and process improvements.
• Drive pricing sophistication, competitive pricing analysis and pricing segmentation, coordinating with pricing leaders and other areas.
• Lead discounting and rebate strategies and new product monetization approaches, and facilitate pricing discussions with leadership.
• Lead the pricing team, including staffing model design, development and performance management, and drive operational efficiencies.

Required profile

• Master's degree in business administration or a related field (typically a BS/BA in a related discipline).
• 10+ years of strategic pricing experience, including several years in a management role with significant business impact.
• Experience planning and delivering pricing in both direct and channel-sales environments.
