Venue Technology Assistant - Huntington Bank Pavilion

About the role

Legends Global, a holistic agency serving professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention clients, is hiring a Venue Technology Assistant for the Huntington Bank Pavilion in Chicago. The role provides hands-on support for point-of-sale systems and event technology, with a pay rate of $18.75 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for all point-of-sale system problems and escalate them when necessary
• Initiate and implement improvements in your area of responsibility
• Walk through the venue to make sure all systems are operational before and during every event
• Replace defective hardware before, during and after events
• Diagnose software, firmware and hardware errors and breakage
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adhere to all standards and practices
• Follow safety policies and procedures, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific safety training

Required profile

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to organize, manage and complete multiple tasks efficiently and on time
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
• Ability to stand and walk long distances and to lift at least 50 lbs.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including the operating system and Office systems
• Effective oral presentation and written communication skills
